Meeting with Council leaders: agreed notes
On Wednesday 9 September 2026, members of the Sheffield Green Belt Alliance met Cllr Fran Belbin, Leader of Sheffield City Council, and Cllr Angela Argenzio, Leader of the Green Group, at Sheffield Town Hall.
The meeting followed the leaders' August visits to proposed Green Belt sites. The discussion covered outstanding questions for planning officers, brownfield land, infrastructure, whether the Sheffield Plan could be revisited, and future dialogue with communities.
